Wow. I probably have 3 or 4 of the units in this recall. Guess I'd better check each one.

Pretty simple really. Model Number, date code and serial number. Enter the data along with your address and they say they will send a new one in 15-20 days.

I received one replacement yesterday. They require you return the recalled extinguishers.

Are they supplying a return, postage paid box? (re-using the shipping box perhaps)

Yes. You take out the new extinguisher, put the old in the box, put that box in the shipping box, tape shut and apply the supplied label. Then call FedEx for a pickup.

Good to know. I just bought a new H110 from Walmart before the Moab trip this week. It was a recalled serisl number also! Beware that some stores are still selling recalled extinguishers

It took a couple weeks , but, my 3 replacement units showed up. Return tag inside just as they said. Very happy that even though my extinguishers are 10 years old , Dated 2007, Kiddie still is replacing them at no cost. Great company! Will let my co-workers know about this site and to check there in home/car units.:2c:
