I'm redoing my woodworking setup and adding a portable bandsaw. It will primarily be used for cutting various joints, but I also do some metal work.

SWAG offroad makes stands for portable bandsaws http://www.swagoffroad.com/SWAG-V40-Portaband-Table_p_63.html that I'm interested in buying or just building. Harbor Freight's portable bandsaw is compatible and one of their tools that always gets good reviews, and it would be nice to have the flexibility of using it fixed or by hand.

Anyone have any experience with either?

A SWAG setup, good and bad.

I have no experience with those harbor freight saws; I havea Delta band saw and often thought about buying a metal blade for it. I am not too comfortable using it. I have only used mine to do a few wood working projects with it.
