I don't know if this should be here or elsewhere, but I have seen a TJ near our house a couple times and I walked by it one time and was checking out the wheels. It had Hutchinson beadlocks. They are DOT approved and nice and beefy. I'd love to pick up a set like these, but I'm not willing to drop $1200-$1600 for a set.

Just wondered if I'm slow or if these are known about?
What do you think?
I like the design.(Internal, not how cool they would make my garage crawler look)

Watch the backset on these as there doesn't seem to be any at all, at least over what the stock wheels are. Keep in mind, too, that if you do much hard wheeling, you are going to break any kind of mag or aluminum wheel no matter how good it is. A $50 cheapo steel wheel will bend, you can hammer it back out, and they are cheap to replace. Last set of expensive rims I had, Some nice American Racing mags, I hit a small rock, broke the wheel, put a hand size hole in the nearly new Goodyear (cause I literally broke the wheel) and it ended up costing over $400 to replace. These were rims that were on the truck when I bought and after that I promptly sold them.

The last set of rims that I had on my rig were steel, just like the ones I have now. All 4 were bent, but if they had been anything else, they would've been broken.

Glory rims like these are for trailer queens and cost way too much for what you get. Save your money for a decent upgrade that will actually do something for your rig. Might as well buy a set of those dork balls and hang 'em off the back of your rig for all the good the wheels will do.
