Got to meet David today, first thing I saw pulling up to his house was that sweet TJ sitting in the driveway, my god, pictures don't do it justice. Got to see some of his toys and he hooked me up with some small pistol primers at cost (which are like gold right now in the reloading community), really nice guy, I look forward to hitting the trails with him and even if it means riding shotgun in that monster. :thunb:

South side as well but a bit further south. I'm on 99th at the south end of Sedalia. Small world. My kids probably walk by your house on the way to school everyday.

You're just down the street from me then and yeah the kids all walk by here.

My house sits on 102nd and faces south down Pitkin, I am in a brown with dark brown trim Russell (the model where the garage door faces the side of the house)

Yeah we need to meet, I drive a brick red FJ.

No I do not know them. I am a Contractor thee on a short term Project.
Now that Oracle bought Sun, we are not sure how much longer we will be there.
I live in the South East Metro area, near E-470 and Smokey Hill.

Lets go Wheeling this summer.

What part of the Sun (now Oracle) equipment to you work on? I may be able to get your foot in the door with another contractor if you know the equipment :thunb:

We are using SunRays connected to large Solaris Server on the Network.
I have been working on Sun's IBIS project. Thats the project to move from 10.7 to 11i.
The IBIS project has been stopped, and I think Oracle will come in with R12 and just re-implements a fresh R12. I am looking for a new job, as this one may be over soon.

I'll keep my ears to the ground for ya! I can't remember the name of the contractor at the moment, but they're now taggin along with Hitachi, and I'm pretty sure they still have a few open slots to fill with Computer Engineers. There'd be alot of traveling (Denver Metro/Boulder/Greely) involved though.

A lot of trails are already open. There are a bunch of runs taking place this weekend alone...Moody Hill, Spring Creek, Illinois Gulch, Metberry Gulch......

How about shaking loose and doing some wheeling?

Hi Screweder,

I am still looking for a job. I have a technical background.
Mostly Oracle database development, and custom software.
I don't know anyone at Hitachi. Let me know if you could pass along a contact.
I hope to meet you on the trai this summer.

Howdy,

Level 3 has had many layoffs recently.
It is also a very long drive from where I live.
I really didn't like the commute to Sun either.
I live near E-470 and Smokey Hill.
I hope to find something on the south side or Downtown.
Got to keep looking...
