I have decided that it is time to get lockers. I would like arb lockers front and rear, but that is not a financially viable option.

I have a 99 Land Rover Discovery II with a locked center differential, electronic traction control (ETC) and 32" tires. This is my daily driver.

Other than arb's, my options are pretty much limited to detroit lockers and truetrac limited slips. ETC compliments the truetracs really well.

Here is my question: Given the driving conditions in Colorado, is there any reason not to put a detroit locker in the rear axle?

I've done a lot of research on this, but I'd like to hear some personal opinions. :tsk: :thunb:

Thanks,

Mike

My aussie locker is tolerable on my daily driver.

My only experience is with Toyota e-lockers, which act just like ARB's, and a Lockrite. The e-lockers are great. The Lockrite was a POS. Locked and got good traction, but made steering a workout, even with power steering. I won't go with a non-selectable locker any more. Just personal preference.
