Hey if there is anyone in the area that may have a little free time I could use an extra hand. Having a hell of a time getting my brakes bled after installing the line extenders for my lift.

I can help. I'm busy through 3p and have a 7p phone call but holes before / after 7p can work or there's tomorrow aft/eve.

edit: I have assorted bleed tools as well

Hey Jim!

Was hoping you might be available. Whenever works best for you works as long as it's after 1600/1630 if today/tomorrow. Since I know you're running Rollins Pass, just pick a day/time and I'll make it work. I picked up a cheap vacuum bleeder from harbor freight to solo bleed. Had it pull some fluid but then nothing but air, so I'm not sure what's up.

I believe you still have my cell# somewhere in a private message so just shoot me a text/call if you want.

I highly recommend putting speed bleeder valves on the calipers. Makes bleeding very easy. All my vehicles have them.

Ditto that. Well worth the $5 investment.

speed bleeder valves

another supporter of speed bleeder valves - never used them on disc set-up but they are definitely nice for drums.

Well sounds like that's an overwhelming amount of support for them and relatively cheap so I'll pick them up. Jim is nice enough to assist with the process so hopefully we can get it knocked out shortly.

Napa and Advanced Auto both have them for fairly cheap.

Update...

We went with conventional two-person brake bleed. The first three wheels showed no difference in pedal firmness though all wheel cyls had air. Several pumps of the last cylinder found the pedal going from terrible to great. An around - the - block test drive seems reasonable.

My impression (from being at the rear wheel cyls) - it's GREAT to work on a two year old CLEAN and UN-RUSTED vehicle!

Again, major shout-out to Jim for the assist, and for the update I didn't get to last night. He was a huge help and the bleeding went very smooth and quick, much to my surprise.
