1987 87 suzuki samurai

This rig started life as a 87 suzuki samurai. not much sami left just some of the frame, hood and tub from firewall to the back of the seats.
tube work is all 1.5" dom.
engine is a 4.3L v6 out of a 2001 gmc jimmy. i was told the engine and trans were both rebuilt when they were installed. engins is completely stock, just a K&N filter. runs great. electric fan and aluminum radiator
transmission is a 4l60e out of the same gmc jimmy. again i was toldf it was rebuilt. has a corvette servo installed as well as a trans cooler with fan. stock shifter from the jimmy with the detent modified to be able to go from drive to reverse without pushing the button.
Transfer case is a top shift toyota case. has 4.7:1 gears. trail gear twin sticks and a trail-tough rear driveline disconnect. so you can do front or rear digs in either high or low.
Front axle is a 85 toyota mini truck axle. it has 5.29 yukon gears with 29 spline pinion. Longfield 30 spline shafts and birfields, 6 shooter knuckles, trail gear drive flanges, upper truss, trail gear full hydraulic steering kit. and arb air locker. edit: has a rcv birfield and og longfield shaft on the long side. as well as a full set of 4340 rcv's for spares still in the box.
Rear axle is also from a 85 toyota. it also has the yukon big pinion 5.29 gears, a spool, 1 longfield shaft and 1 stock shaft. as well as a couple spare stock shafts
Driveshafts are both from Tom Woods. rear has a double cardan at the t-case. front is a 2 piece with carrier bearing mounted to the skid plate.
flat belly skid plate made of 3/8" plate.also has a skid under the oil pan.
front suspension is a 3-link with track bar. 14" sway a way air shocks
Rear suspension is a 4-link. 14" sway a way air shocks, Tk1 swaybar and center limit strap.
courbeau suspension seats with prp padded harnesses.
red top optima battery
trail gear 8000 lb winch with synthetic line
custom dash with autometer gauges and painless wiring harness
fuel cell with sender
wheels are trail gear creeper lock beadlocks.
wheelbase is ~ 104"
Tires: currently has a set of 39" bfg Krawler stickies on it. spare has been professionally repaired and is mounted on a steel wheel.
Theres probably more things that i am forgetting. This rig wheels great and hangs with alot of high dollars rigs. i am just ready for something else. Great first buggy. i have never weighed it but was told that its 2600lbs empty.
