Ships from China, not sure if that means anything anymore... Amazon guarantees the sale, so I ordered one.

Price seems to have gone up... $159.00 now.
The review didn't cover a fuel efficiency comparison. Look forward to hearing your experiences with it.

I think it was an amazon "deal of the day".

Since Paul's deal looks to be over...

edit: `just watched the vid :chuckle: I bought a slow stove! Dagnabbit.

If anyone's looking for an inexpensive stove - search C/L for Coleman - liquid fuel. There's a batch of'm in Loveland for $20 last I looked. I picked one up for $25 - older than me - and in reasonable condition.

I still have my 2burner coleman liquid fuel stove...its 25+ years old. Don't use it much as I switched to a propane version over 10 years ago. My main caution with old liquid fuel stoves is to check some of the o-rings - especially where the fuel line attaches into the tank - as if they are leaking a bit and things get hot....well its easy to set the picnic table that is under the stove on fire. BTDT twice...I also used liquid fuel backpack stoves for a lot of years and had similar issues about every 6-8 years...the little rubber o-rings dry rot, crack, and eventually disintegrate into black smudgy gunk. Would suggest replacing them before too much use...otherwise, there isn't much else that can go bad on these things.

This was a scam. It said it shipped from china and would take a few weeks, but the same day they shipped something from Texas to Texas, listed that tracking number and it was marked as delivered on my account. It was an Amazon "Deal of the day" too. I requested a refund and amazon gave it to me within 5 minutes of requesting it, so I'm out nothing, but...

That's pretty weird that a featured deal would be such a blatant scam.

Bummer (that you didn't get a nice stove at a low cost) - and odd (how the scam worked).

I still stand behind my Coleman 2 burner propane stove and cook anything and everything just fine. I've had it for 25+ years and it has never failed me. I've even used it to cook at home when the power goes out. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. I can't remember what I paid for it, but I was more broke then than I am now, so it wasn't much!:D
