Would 9:30 meetup in Lyons work. At Circle K instead of the park as there is the good old days celebration at the park this Sat.

Wife may be taking the Jeep camping Saturday. If this ends up being her plan, I am without a rig and will have to tap out. I won't know until tomorrow or Thursday.

Time's good.

Circle-K is the first station on the left / the old diamond-shamrock, yes?

I'll meet where you wish though I'd vote for the U-Pump-It (first gas station on the right) as it's right turn in and more significantly right turn out. It offers more parking than Circle-K (though the convenience store portion isn't as nice).

That left turn out of the old diamond-shamrock can be an adventure. Poor sight-lines and 4 lanes of fast moving traffic.

Wunderground is predicting afternoon thunderstorms, with chance of rain ramping up from 10am onward, Saturday for Estes Park. *sigh*

No problem. My first run with the forum was on these two trails and it rained quite a bit iirc.

I'll bring some bath soap and pull the body-drain plugs from the Jeep.

I'll just roll up the windows if needed. (We've had nothing but cold and rain for so long in Evergreen that I haven't even taken the hard top off yet)!

I'm looking forward to seeing Pierson Park. I haven't been on it since the flood.
