July 13 or 14 - Storm Mountain full explore

I'm looking to finish checking out the eastern trails at Storm Mountain. I'd be game to visit "the mountain" as well and if folks wished - the west trails too.

Visit for Saturday or Sunday - lower rain odds (Sat eve has some chance of rain) would be my deciding factor.

I'm likely going no matter what - wish to join and explore the nooks & crannies of Storm Mountain?

I fully expect the "eastern entrance" to be closed so it'd be an in-n-out via the main trailhead.

I'm looking to visit the un-colored items on this MVUM (153 D, E, F might not exist - D, maybe but I think it's LOOOOOONNNNGGGG unused)

The eastern entrance is always closed except during hunting seasons.

When I was there a couple weeks back I noticed the "house for sale" type of signs posted on the eastern trails stating the gate's closed - except for hunting. Nice of'm to put the signs up.

Looking at Max's Colorado.Gov link - it shows the Storm Mountain trails connecting with Moody/Crystal. It'd be nice if they were legit MVUM trails.

Jim, I may be able to join you this weekend. It depends on if I'm driving by myself, and other plans.

Max - what are your thoughts? Both days are showing 20% odds for rain with Sunday being cooler so I'm still leaning to Sunday. I could go Sat if that's better for you.
