Have not run Kingston, MSV-coney, Argentine pass, or Red Cone this year.

I was thinking about Kingston next weekend as well. I have never run Red Cone, so that might be interesting some time. Argentine was this past Friday for me, so I probably won't go back again this coming weekend.

Not that I want to do these this weekend, but is there anything interesting on the trails that leave from the Caribou ghost town area? I've never run those, and have been curious about them. I think they are Caribou Flats and Rainbow something-or-other?

Caribou Creek connects to Rainbow lakes 2wd road on the North end. I have run it once. I believe the other heads N from the town of Eldora is Eldorado Mountain according to trail damage. Have never run it.

Could be a possibility depending on interest. Last I heard though Caribou was still closed so would need to check on that.


Just checked they opened July 20.

Interested in a run...already run Kingston so would be up for something else. Red cone is an option. Wheeler lake.

Looks like I'm shooting for Friday 8/30 for Chinaman Gulch on another thread. So I'd like to join the group this Saturday. My vote is for Wheeler Lake or Caribou. But I will defer to whatever the group decides.

I guess I will post a run for Kingston Peak. Meet at Rollinsville 9:30 work for those interested?

Not sure where in Rollinsville. I've always met up the hill from Blackhawk before. Different plan for getting onto the trail than the last few times?

I'm busy Saturday, but can go for an off road drive Sunday if anyone wants to.
