Thinking of taking the Jeep out for a shakedown run shortly. Maybe Switzerland trail north, the same route we tried to run last weekend but couldn't complete due to snow. Anyone interested?

Did you get out on the trail? How was the snow compared to the week prior?

Didn't go. Wasn't interested in getting stuck in the snow alone, if those drifts were still a problem.

I found a railroad map for Switzerland Trail / Denver, Boulder & Western Railroad! I have a much larger size, with timetable, available.
The question it answered is how did the mountain area railroad connect with the plains. Now I know it followed Four Mile Creek from Sunset to Boulder (CR 118).
There'll likely be much more snow in the mountains by Saturday. I'll have the elastic recovery rope to put to use.

If you all are considering going out this weekend, someone besides me needs to organize. I made this thread for last Sunday (hence last minute title) -- I'll be in Moab this weekend. Have fun!
