Received my Code Red email, text, and voicemail from Park county today with the news. The bulletin stated that the ban was for forest service land along with private property. I am sure resources are as much reason as the weather. If you are going to do any early season camping, be sure to check on restrictions for the area you are heading into.

A number of places (if not the entire state) in Idaho are on burning ban on private property just to ensure no accidents that might pull FR resources...A couple rural friends there are talking about how large their trash pile is getting after 3+ weeks.

SW Jeffco has had several fires of late, intentionally set unfortunately. Nothing like a crazed arsonist running around. I saw on the signs that they were on Stage 1 fire bans last weekend on the way up 285.

Just saw Boulder County issued a fire ban in all unincorporated locations.

I would expect more of this... About 2/3 of the state is currently listed as abnormally dry or worse.
