EDIT: per the below, it looks like only the last two weekends in June are options. Please vote accordingly as I cannot see where to change the poll, maybe Jim can assist?
It sounds like there is enough interest to move forward with trying to pick a date. It should open on the 1st which is a Monday (maybe Brian could clarify?) which would leave the weekends of the 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th for possibilities. Once we see which weekend works the best we can move forward with plans. The poll will end on the 27th which should give plenty of time to vote.
OPTION: move to July?

We're planning on opening up on June 15th for motorized vehicles with a CFW club run June 20th.

Thanks Brian, that changes the potential dates a bit. I hope you are doing well.

I'd suggest a CW run on the weekend of 6/20-21....
CFW club run June 20th.
Brian - you know roughly how big of a group might go on this, and/or if many of the members would camp the night? My biggest concern would be how crowded it might be around the first open weekend. We could plan on Sun 6/21 as that might be less crowded and avoid the CFW run?...I'd probably be interested to camp the night on 6/20 before hand? I do think for me personally, there is still a bit of 'monitoring' how things continue to develop, and if there is a rough second wave of health concern in June then my plans are subject to change....but I am planning a 3 day river trip in the weekend before an am hopeful.

I agree on that weekend. It will be crowded no matter how many are there from CFW. I am in that area almost every weekend and the traffic has been very high in volume including M/C's, ATV, S/S's, Jeeps, etc. There were two vehicles airing down just off of 77 at the big lot south of the town of Tarryall yesterday morning when I was heading out of the area. I thought about stopping to tell them it wasn't going to be open when they got up the road to the gate but let it go so they could get an education elsewhere (assuming the gate is in place which it was on the north end).

We generally get better turn-out on Sat vs Sun (at least with things like clean-up etc)...but I would vote for Sunday.....

Maybe it is presented as a "weekend run" with camping on Saturday night. CW run at set times both Saturday and Sunday. There are many nice FS roads in the area to explore as well as hiking trails, creek and reservoir fishing, or just relaxing to pass the time for those who would be there both days.
I also agree that if there is another bump in C19 that another look would need to be taken.

Sounds like a good plan....

I hope you all get to have the anniversary run, we won't be able to attend, we had to postpone our trip out to see our daughter and grandchildren back during spring break and are using the first part of our June vacation to visit them. I got the opportunity for the last couple weeks of going up to the Lyons area (ran Switzerland trail-hiked sleepy lyons trail) it has been really nice to get out!
Really was planning on both my wife and me attending this year. I will be praying for this event and many more to go off well. For the sake of everyone's mental health and pushing forward to getting to back to normal (even is it's a new normal). Looking forward to hitting some trails with Front Range 4x4 this summer.
