Kelly Flats

Hi,

I am posting this for a friend. When does Kelly Flats usually open the gate? With CoronaVirus, I suspect they might not open the gate. Thoughts?

I am president of the club that adopts Kelly Flats. The FS typically tries to get it open before Memorial Day weekend but it depends on trail conditions. We usually run it the weekend before Memorial Day weekend with the FS to check the conditions and perform maintenance but with the pandemic we cannot this year as they have not finalized their procedures for volunteering during the pandemic. The FS told me they will be checking the conditions and will hopefully open it this month. I will post once I hear anything.

My source says it's usually open 06/15-11/15

That's the opening date on the MVUM but we typically try to get it open before Memorial Day weekend. It closes on Dec 1.
