Miller Rock this Sunday (May 17th)

Hey all, I was unable to join Miller rock a few weeks ago but a buddy and I are planning to run it this Sunday so I'm putting it out there in case anyone else wants to join us. Haven't decided on meeting time but thinking around 830-9am meeting at trailhead.

Anyone interested? This is probably my favorite trail in the entire front range besides the Gulches

I love this trail because it is basically 3 trails in one. Most people by far just hang a right and go up the fun rocky gully to Miller rock and then continue on thru the exit. That's a nice quick run but to me that's just the exit spur. Obviously the main obstacle and now with miles of continued trails on the other side of the creek is the highlight trail that one could spend all day on. Then the left turn trail that runs along the ridge for miles and then drops steeply (very steeply at the end) to the creek and dead ends so you have to go back up. I'm looking forward to hitting this trail again, hope Sunday is warm and sunny ;)

I've never run Miller Rock. Is it definitely open now? I won't be able to go this weekend but, I'm thinking of a weekday/overnighter adventure in a couple weeks. Is there some good dispersed campsites? Hope you have fun Sunday.

Yes there are some amazing sites on both creek crossings! Too bad you can’t join us on Sunday....
