China Wall anniversary "weekend" run June 20-21

Looks like the poll landed on the weekend of June 20th. Initial thoughts are to schedule a run of the trail on both Saturday and Sunday (something new) in hopes that more members can attend. Of course camping on Friday and/or Saturday is an option as well. Not sure this is the year to continue the potluck theme, hopefully that can resume next year.

There are a lot of forest service roads in the area for other ventures; Chinaman Gulch, Eagle Rock, and several other trails are also within a reasonable drive. There are some nice established hiking trails and several good fishing opportunities to help round out a weekend depending on each participants desires.

Thinking 10:00 run for each day and as usual we may need to run it in waves depending on how many vehicles we have and how crowded the trail is in general.

Thoughts prior to putting this on the calendar?

I was planning on posting the run today for 10:00 both Saturday and Sunday. This would give plenty of time for anyone travelling from the Denver area to get there, but earlier would be a bit less crowded. I was thinking of throwing a few other suggestions out there for the area as well for anyone that wanted to camp and get in several trails that weekend. 10 work or???

10 works for me...Its over 2 hour drive central Denver at normal speeds. Could have a carpool meet up around 8am either day in the metro area for those not camping.

I'm excited about this, had a great time there last year. Was denied by the right side of the wall. Wonder if I'll have any better luck this year?
