New CPW requirement to hike in State Wildlife Areas

Hiking, kayaking, going on premise to get a closer look at something of interest all require a fishing or hunting license as of July 1 in these areas. It is no more a “pay to play” scenario than having to put an OHV sticker on the toy(s) prior to riding. Trails and state wildlife areas are payed for from these dollars and anyone enjoying them should do their part in supporting them.
