Any weekday is fine. Open to ideas. Currently thinking of Yankee Hill, Devils Canyon, Barbour Forks, or ...
Any interest?
Could also do something up by Jim: Moody Hill, and Old Flowers Road come to mind.

I want to get the jeep out sometime before next weekend. A slight bit of a shakedown run.
`been a while since I did old flowers / played around Pennock Pass. I'm thinking - Pole Hill or something north of there. I'd probably bow out for a Yankee or south of there area. See what others say and you decide.
Mostly open at this point (Monday & Tuesday mornings are scheduled (aft's open); Wed/Thu/Fri are open).

Have run pole hill twice this season so far, but would be happy to join you in addition to one or more of the other trails another day if anyone else is interested.

I wondered about Jim's seats. He listed 4 for sale, so where is he planning to sit to drive?

Nephew, 15, is to visit week after next and we're going to disappear into the hills for a week (solo vehicle - I don't want any breakdown where we have to walk out - dispersed camping). Goals - mine relics and any campsite with a creek or lake.
0) Needed to replace the driver's side front wheel bearing (this is somewhat the shake down run - I've had it out to the freeway but need to double-check tightness - the driver's side wishes to 'loosen' while driving).
1) Oil pan removed - removal #2 as install #1 had an oil leak. I'm hoping #2 will be zero or near zero for leaks. Anaerobic sealant, added to both sides of the gasket, still curing - and I'm going to give it a full 60 hours before use for a good cure.
2) I changed gear lube in both diff's a couple weeks ago - no shakedown concerns there.
3) While changing rear diff fluid I noticed the right side has some diff fluid leakage (soiling the inner brake pad) - time to do the same speedi-sleeve repair that the driver's side had repaired a season or two prior. Task completed this afternoon.
4) Need to change transfer case fluid. Drained - need to fill with ATF. *
5) Need to change transmission case fluid. Draining... To be filled with 10w-30. *
* Gents - do you recall a somewhat recent thread on what lube to use in a transmission as the 'yellow metal' compatible fluids are getting hard to find. I recall saying ATF - "and after further review" I believe my statement is wrong. I'd like to go back and issue a correction but I can't find the thread / post.

I purchased a couple seats from Quadratec. Old seats are more cushy. New are more firm and are comfortable.

Only commitment I have this week is Sat, and Pierson tomorrow, so whatever day and trail you'd like is good.

Wed would be my initial pref (more time to fix stuff before the weekend, should repair be needed (though unlikely)). Thu looks to be a tad cooler than Wed - or about any day this next week.

I'm game for any trail north of US-36. Old Flowers is an easy yes.
Mostly - any trail north of 36 and on Wed or Thu - count me in. You decide. Maybe wait a day to see who else might jump in? James? Trent? some newbies?!

No weekday runs for me this week or next. Let's talk about Argentine for late July or early August once we know it is open, though.

Sure we can wait. I have only run Old Flowers once. We did it along with Moody Hill to make a fuller day. No prob heading up your way for a trail imo.

There is an old farts wheeling meetup group attempting it this coming Sat. I will report back when I know what they say.

Jim,there is good info on fluids and more here https://www.novak-adapt.com/knowledge/
Kingston and Loch Lomond might open this week, I believe they were waiting until after the 4th weekend. Not sure on that, just repeating the internet...
