JEFFERSON COUNTY, COLORADO – On Friday, October 16th at approximately 3:45 PM, the Colorado State Patrol responded to a crash in the area of Lookout Mountain Road and Mountsfield Drive.

A silver Jeep Wrangler struck a pedestrian walking their dog in the area. After striking the pedestrian and dog, the Jeep fled the area. The driver backed into a driveway in the area and struck an occupied box truck. The driver of the box truck got out of their vehicle after the crash and the Jeep driver then appeared to intentionally reverse rapidly into the box truck again.

The Jeep fled the area after the second crash. It was last seen in the area of Lookout Mountain Road and Panorama Drive. The vehicle that fled is described as an unknown year silver Jeep Wrangler. There is heavy damage to the rear of the vehicle, possible front end damage, and an American flag sticker in the rear window.

The driver of the Jeep is described as a white male with facial hair, possibly in their 40's. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
