It was me, Tom, and Jim out on a beautiful Sunday. Very little snow, did not have any traction issues anywhere. Started out where Gold Hill Rd meets Switzerland Trail, made our way south, took a fun detour onto 221.1 -- it was a pretty steep and rocky way down into the gulch

Zoom in of our detour onto 221.1, with the plan to link back up into Switzerland Trail. Fun on the way down with some hairpin turns. There's an old air compressor (I think?) at the bottom of the gulch (photo below). The orange marker is for a very steep climb we encountered -- Jim made it up, but there's no way I was getting up there without lockers, so we turned it around. On the climb back up the other way, we turned off to check out a mining claim and a cool cave (hopefully Jim has some more pictures than I do!)

Tom took off at Sugarloaf, and Jim and I continued on through the various Gordon Gulch trails -- a lot of nice campsites I hope to visit in the summer!

Thanks for coming out guys!
