View Full Version : Little Moab Anniversary Run?

Typically we hold the anniversary run down at little Moab (Missouri Gulch) around this time of year. We've had no discussion about this event for this year so far. Are we going to aim for just one event this year in the summer?

Thanks Trent...if the trip goes 2nd or 3rd weekend in April, I might be able to make it....

James, you've been helping organize these events in the last few years. Do you want to try to set one up for this year? I realize we typically hold that run in mid March to align with the anniversary of the club, but that seems impractical since we haven't planned anything yet. Mid-late April does sound like a plausible time to give us an opportunity to survey the group and plan a convenient time.

As I am out of state at least until after Easter, guessing someone else might be better suited to organize? Even after Easter, I will only be around for 2 weeks or so before leaving town again until mid May. I will keep up with the USFS about our adopt a trail program, but more than happy to let others take the lead with anniversary runs in March and later to china wall. I would expect china wall in June, first A-A-T in mid July, and 2nd A-A-T in mid Sept.

I'm very interested, maybe camp overnight Friday into Saturday if we get something planned for April? Rainbow Falls and the surrounding trails makes for a lot of fun. So if there is enough interest let's make it happen. China Wall in June might conflict with our plans for a trip down to Telluride/Ouray area first part of June. So it would be nice to get together with F Range to kick off the season. I'm all about tradition.

Absolutely. We're looking for good opportunities to use the new trailer this season.
