Would like to get out one of those days. Anyone interested and have trail ideas. I haven’t run pickle gulch this year. Open to ideas but don’t want to drive too far to the trailhead.

This might not be on your radar but Trent was dropped a line for Kelly Flats - perhaps that'd be a new test for your new tires?
Trent - Kelly Flats this weekend?

A bit further than I was thinking but possibly.

I might be up for Kelly Flats too. If all goes well I'll be getting new tires this week as well, would be fun to take them for a spin. I'd likely be installing them Saturday and ready to wheel Sunday.

I can probably swing either day for Kelly Flats. May try camping the evening before, particularly if we plan to wheel Sunday.

I can do either day - and possibly both if you were camping and wished to hit some other open trails in the area. Some are closed due to last season's fires.

What else is in the area? I know the road north of there we took this past winter, but not much else.

At the west end of Kelly is Sevenmile Creek (one I'd consider, if open). CLOSED due to fire

Farther west (perhaps too far), and a trail I'd like to visit, is Green Ridge Trail:
https://funtreks.com/off-road-trails/green-ridge-trail/
Late in the season, it should be dried out / easier.
DRAT - I see it's closed for the 2021 season
If you have not been to (if you have some interest) the Deadman Lookout Tower, it would be a consideration for you to visit:
https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/arp/recarea/?recid=36647
The road from Red Feather to the lookout tower can be washboard. I'd consider airing down at the first hint of washboard.
If you have not been to (or a quick drive through) the Red Feather Lakes area, it'd be worth a check out if in the area. A suggested route - make a stop at one of the downtown general stores if you wished:

Old Flowers Road (east of Pingree park - the main portion) is open. Did you ride this trail recently?

Have not run old flowers road. Likely to camp off pingree park. Also have never driven the red feather lakes area. I've been up to Walden and State Forest State Park, but haven't explored much else alone the way up to Cameron Pass.

Red Feather is neat - a mountain housing community. The rocks are more rounded boulder things. Red Feather Lakes - has several smallish lakes dotting the area. Interesting to see the different landscape.
Old Flowers is easy. Some nice wide views at the western end. Tom and I visited somewhat recently:

.
The western end of Old Flowers starts with this text: Extensive High Park Fire burn area. Cause - lightning. June 2012 about 80% down the page

When we did Kelly Flats a few weeks back all other trails on the north side of 14 were closed. We ran Pingree park road south to Old Flowers road and ran that fun trail east to Buckhorn road near Masonville. It’s a great trail with lots of camping options

I personally would rather do Kelly on Sat due to the distance and time. I have a fairly physical day scheduled for Monday and at my age a rest day between would be good. I could do Old Flowers on Sun though. Much closer, and easier run.
I have no issue if others want to run Kelly on Sunday though.

I would like to go this weekend. Sunday would be better for me (I might be able to make Saturday work). I would prefer pickle gulch, but will consider Kelly Flats.

I got my wheels in today so Saturday or Sunday should be fine for me.

I am leaning toward the shorter drive to pickle gulch, and will let others make the arrangements for Kelly Flats. Mike and I can work out the details for Pickle Gulch.
So Mike what are your thoughts. I prefer Saturday but can do Sunday though I would want a Sunday run to be a bit shorter than what I could do on Saturday.

We're going to try to camp Saturday night up that way. Saturday mid afternoon or Sunday morning would be best for Kelly Flats for me

I can do Kelly either of those times / days. Your pick.

Since Shane has his new wheels and tires on, I think I'd like to aim for Saturday afternoon (3pm?). Should give me time to get camp setup and break free with the Jeep.
