hi all, i just wanted to know if anyone is using t mobile and how they think the coverage is for colorado?

i have att but may be switching.

I have t-mobile. Good coverage in towns(Estes, Nederland, etc) and front range cities. No coverage when wheeling in the mtns at most locations. Occasionally will receive the random text message when wheeling.

have you, or anyone else noticed a difference in coverage with other carriers in the mountains? I usually get spotty coverage with att, high points things come through, I fear loosing that but really im not sure if thats really any better than the alternative.

Why not buy a month of prepaid service on a T-mobile MVNO and try it out before making a wholesale change? Should be able to try Mint Mobile or another similar prepaid plan for a pretty low fee if you have an unlocked phone available.

I have only ever had t-mobile. Wife’s decision due to family and trips to MN where she says t-mobile is best.

I can say the same. Verizon is the predominant carrier I use. I had ATT for a couple months and mountains were about the same though front range ATT was worse than Verizon.

Hmmm I will look into Verizon as well then, it looks like they may have a good competitive price for multiple lines.

I have been happy with Boom Mobile - a reseller for multiple carriers (Boom Red for Verizon). The true Verizon bill (one line) dropped from ~74/mo to $25/mo for the same package (unlim talk/text, 1GB data)

The Boom web site config is more bare/basic than Verizon's (I can't look up / download prior call history) but for the savings - I can accept it. Visual voice mail, WiFi calling, Hotspot all enabled. Calling their customer service number rocks - maybe a 5 min hold to an operator that can get stuff tended directly (`needed to enable visual voice mail for a client today - quick - done). Granted, with Verizon itself, VizVM is enabled at activation.

I have T-Mobile and the S21 Ultra phone. Work around Northfield area, old Stapleton. NO COVERAGE, it's insane to me, that in the middle of the metro area, T-Mobile does not work.

Everywhere else is good, my opinion is that Verizon is the best. Problems are big enough for me to switch and pay more but it is an annoyance...

Verizon seems to be where I'm leaning, and an S21 as well, pending what comes out next year, maybe it'll lower the price when the s22 roles out.

Is 5G sonething worth while? Is there coverage and does anyone notice a difference compared to 4G?
