Thanks Jim and Gretchen! You guys rock to four wheel with and I look forward to more adventures with you guys. Next time I promise to have my own tow strap so I can be a little more helpful.

BTW, no new pinstripes today :)

I'll post up a video link after I get all the footage off the cameras.

Today was a fun snow wheeling day!

"the tree" was cut away by the time we arrived. We looked at Miner's Gulch. The tough first rock area was ice. I tried and the jeep was a ping-pong ball bouncing off of the sides of the creek - rejected. We went back and headed northwest up and out to the main north-south trail and headed south away from Tolland - rejected within a 100 yards of the intersection we u-turned towards Tolland. Large drifts. I got stuck. Gretchen pulled me out. Jason got stuck. Gretchen pulled him out. We worked down the mountain towards Tolland, taking a left / U-turn to the couple dead end trails (one was the old reservoir trail). I think the reservoir trail was an easy flow to the end where we got out for some pictures and chatting. Temps were cool but not biting cold but the wind was wicked fast. On the second, longer dead end finger, we had a massive drift. Gretchen plowed 90% through and became stuck - pulled out for another run and up-n-over. That busted it down enough. Jason went - but still stuck. Pulled out and with enough momentum - pushed up-n-over. We made it to the end and on the way out this difficult drift was worked down for an easy process on the way out. We went to the tunnel's east portal to air up (nice sun, about eight cars for people hiking).

Good times for sure, it's not to often I get to throw caution into the wind and just go for it :woot:Thanks for all the pics Jim and I like your website with all the other pics, cool. I'm surprised I only took one pic myself, I usually have a whole pile of them. The first pic on your website of the smaller dia. tree was a tree I cut three weeks ago :) Super fun Jason breaking in your new rig and burying it in some deep snow, I enjoyed your willingness to push the boundaries.

Thanks Gretchen! It was a treat to go off-road with you and Jim. You guys gave me a lot of confidence in pushing my rig. I'm looking forward to the next excursion
