2023 Anniversary Run - Little Moab/Rainbow Falls - 05.06.23

Next Saturday (04.29.23) was the leading day for the Anniversary Run, going off poll results and the few comments on the thread. The weather isn't looking great at this point with rain/snow in the forecast for 5 out of the next 7 days in Woodland Park. Although it's a bit far out to be trustworthy, the forecast has temps in the 30s and snow for Saturday so I'm thinking it will be best to push this out another week and set it for Saturday 05.06.23.

Let's keep the location the same and plan to meet at the main Rainbow Falls OHV staging area around 9:00-9:15AM. If the main staging area is too full, we may have to move slightly up the road to the opening by the tree where we met last year prior to heading up the trail the short distance to Mini Moab. I've listed GPS coordinates and Google maps pins to each location below. I will be there before 9:00AM.

The two locations are well within radio distance so communicate if you cannot locate the group.

I'm a maybe, depends how much my work schedule fills in by then. I'd like to go, it's a fun area and getting there on Platte River road in the early morning is amazing. I just drove it a few days ago and they were spreading new sand and grading the super rough section south of the old South Platte Hotel, it's great.
