I headed out to Kingston Peak today (7/8) with Rob and Britton. It's closed.
We switched over to run around in Alice and the Yankee Hill maze without hitting the pavement again until we hit Central City. It was perfect weather. There were a lot of ATVs and the like out there but not many Jeeps and trucks. It was the perfect day to wander around and the views were amazing. There were only two obstacles to speak of and they looked a lot worse than they actually were. Another guy in a Jeep hooked up with us at the first obstacle and was quite thankful for Rob's spotting. He split off from us a little while later to head home. Britton has the CoTrex map on his tablet which was really helpful. I never realized just how huge of an area Yankee covers! Not bad for the first run of the year!
