I just did Tie Rod Bender last weekend, so I've really got the rock crawling bug at the moment...
I'm going to head up to Kremmling for the weekend and do Trough Trail on Saturday and Sidewinder on Sunday (or vise versa).
These are 7/10 severe rated trails, both also require an OHV permit.

Anyone interested in joining for one or both?

If schedule works - I'll park at the trailhead to walk and be the photographer.

Ive been wanting to do those trails for a while now but unfortunately Im out for a bit. Something failed in the transfer case, wont go into 4 low and when I pulled the drain plug, was full of silver.

Ah sorry to hear that, Mike. Hope you can get it sorted out without too much time and expense.
Jim - would be glad to have you!

I'd be down for Sidewinder. I went elk hunting very close to the trail last November and it looked pretty cool. My only free day that weekend is Saturday 9-21 though, not sure how flexible the days are for you.
Mike, I have an extra NP231J with SYE sitting in the garage. Leaks a tiny bit but everything works on it. It was rebuilt at some point in its life (have a receipt from previous owner). I'd sell it at whatever a fair price is, let me know if you're interested.

Yeah sidewinder on Saturday is fine! I realized that I signed up for a 5k in the morning that day, so it's going to be an afternoon start - probably 2:30pm earliest. Does that work for you?
