Today was a good picture day

Figured I'd take some pictures of the good stuff in the yard today. (before it goes south for the winter) No direct sunlight, so no heavy shadows. I can't take all of the credit for the plantings - the p.o. was an amateur gardening buff and a cancer patient. From what I can make of it, or actually from what I learned during my Master Gardener program, she created a little relaxation garden. There a lot of washed out greens, blues, and purples. The fragrance from the Russian Sage is soothing as are the wind chimes. On the other side of the yard there are peach, apple and pear trees. Almost forgot to mention the raspberries. I'm using my old Nikon Coolpix 4600. I tuned a couple of the pics with Picasa2.

I've been thinking about that a lot. I still have yet to put the sawzall to the outer pipes. You'd think with all of this free time I'd have it done by now :D

Heck, I want this yard...no grass to maintain. I took the pic this afternoon. I was up in Silver Plume getting bread at the Sopp & Truscott Bakery. (their asiago cheese bread is the bomb) The yard is across the street from the bakery.
