Just saw your post on Co4x4 about the FS and 'impassable trails'. Why don't you just pick a road and/or trail to do, check with the FS and see if it is closed. If it isn't, then go for it. A lot of times the FS will close the seasonal gates-Rampart, Bunce, Coney, etc, etc, etc and thus make it impassable unless you have a hovercraft or snowmobile. Other than that, I would just assume that the road that our tax dollars pay for is open if it ain't got a gate, a 'closed' sign, or 'closed to motor vehicles' sign and just drive the damn thing as far as you can go....
