Right next to, or almost IN, where many of us go when in Utah. So when examining long-term financial benefit, the finite amount of oil that might be extracted from these areas outweighs the potentially perpetual monetary gain of national and international tourist dollars? Of course to say nothing of totally screwing up the beauty of these areas...

I didn't read the article, but didn't Pres. Bush put the green light to oil drilling expansion in Utah? Figures that moron would do more stupid stuff before he leaves the office...
