I'm looking for a local source for steel 6 degree caster correction shims, anyone know a local source?

i have solid aluminum shims either 4 or 6 degree not to sure

Neither of which are steel, I've heard bad things about the aluminum breaking.

Have you called around to the usual suspects yet? Might have to order via the web.

the ones you buy from napa will break, these are solid, i've never seen this type come apart.

Yeah, the catch is that I don't like to do jobs twice and want some tried and true shims. I know a reliable source on the web (http://www.4crawler.com) but hoped to save shipping costs.

Never mind Jim, in spite of everyone on 'Mud saying how much out of spec the truck would be, it's not bad at all. Maybe 3 degrees which isn't enough for me to bother with.

Always nice to have it checked before doing work based on other people's experience.

Hey, we are back! Went from 83 degrees to -15 defrees in a 20 hour time frame! Yuck!

Try High Country Performance 4x4. I got some shims for Bear's heap threre not too long ago in the steel.

I'll post trip pics when I get a chance
