Brody's pictures reminded me that I never did post anything up on my Carribean vacation.

Cruise ships are controlled-access talking monkey containment devices, and made me think of a mediocre metropolitan mall on about December 21st. Being off the ship, on the beach was great. Good waves and pleasant water on Cabbage Beach in Nassau. Miami on Thanksgiving Day was quite pleasant too. Our snorkeling day and extra day in Miami at a beach side resort was curtailed and alternate plans had to be made to do rain. The Bahamas Zoo was a neat stop, and they are less strict on the barricades between humans and animals so that added to the fun. The picture of the manatees was taken from our hotel room in Miami.

Bout time, too! I was hoping that we would see some of your pictures and what better time to do it! Nice to see sun, unfrozen water, no snow, people in summer clothes, etc...Thanks
