Some snow runs that were run by folks from Colo4x4 recently FYI

Spring Creek: open to 2nd obstacle, then big drifts
Eagle Rock: run to Mt Baldy Trail then back down
Bill Moore Lake: run to mine, then big drifts
Slaughterhouse: Whole trial was run (didn't say anything about the loop, but this is usually impassable in winter anyway) 3' drifts of light snow, snowed 6" during the run.

These were from last weekend. Anyway, this information might help with snow run planning.
Enough people run Slaughterhouse (a bunch of folks are running it the 26th from colo4x) to keep it open unless there is a huge snow. Obviously the high country is pretty well shut down and far as open trails go. Elevations around the 9k range are probably still good, but Eagle Rock is higher than that so I am not sure.

In all the pictures and reports, everyone was winching and getting stuck-your basic snow run-and everyone was grinning like fools-again your basic snow run.

What about Metberry, is that open longer being as it is at a lower elevation?

Good call. Metberry would probably be open an very clear as most of it has a southern exposure. There probably wouldn't be much , if any , snow (though there might be a lot more ice) due to the exposure so it might not be the best recovery run. The other side of the Platte is where they get the most snow, like off of Rampart.

There are a lot of better trail that would be open that are a lot closer to town, drive wise.
