It's not like I was going to pout and wait in the parking lot.
Well, maybe not.
(I won't mention that I don't like McDonald's either. Might get my butt kicked)
I'm not picky. Honest.

I'm in. What food/supplies can I bring? Dogs, buns, condiments, chips, snacks, etc.?
Jamie
January 2nd, 2009, 12:21 PM
Condiments would be good Jimmy. I will bring 2 packs of dogs and buns. The count at this time is:
Bridges=4
Steve=1
Aaron=2 maybe
Jimmy=1?
Joe=1
Total=8
So I think 16 dogs should be good. What do you guys think?
Steve is going to carry the grill for me.
Anyone else going chime in if you want to bring something.

My son and I will meet everyone at MickeyD's. I'll bring the makings for hot chocolate.
My plans might change at the last minute so don't wait around for me.

Condiments it is. Anyone have any special requests? I figure I'll get some ketchup, yellow mustard, relish, and a brown spicy mustard.
Oh, and it'll be just me.
See everyone at McDs!

Cool. Telly, we usually wait around 1/2 hour after said "meeting time" . I have two little one's so I am usually the one running behind. How old is your son? I've got an 8yr old boy and 4yr old girl.
If this post stays up top maybe we'll get a few more folks in!:thunb:

Looks like you guys are gonna get your snow. I just checked Jefferson and fairplay and there is a 70% chance today, 20% or so tomorrow.

I'm lucky if I can properly use the "post" function sometimes.:confused:
Chris
January 3rd, 2009, 02:21 PM
:lol: I understand.
Adding something to the calendar isn't much harder than any other post, just click the 'calendar' link in the menu bar, click 'add an event' and from there it's pretty much like any other post. I like to add a link to the thread and any other info as well.
Posting a calendar event makes it show up on the main forum page for 30 days before the event so it may get more attention than another thread.

Hope this will help, Jamie : Get a horse. Get an English saddle. Get the rest of the English riding stuff...funny hat, vest, jodphers and especially those knee high boots. Get on the horse. Use your heels on both sides of the horse until it breaks into a trot. Raise yourself up off of the saddle in time to the horse's trotting...
Oh...wait a minute...that is 'posting' or 'to post'...I'll try to get this straightened out 'post' haste....HEHE

I usually pull the forecasts for Lake George when I want to get an idea of conditions. I tend to use www.weather.com or www.intellicast.com. I'm sure I've looked at other sites (I found one of them - hopefully not the ones I just mentioned - that did not match/sync up with all the others), but can't recall them at the moment.
Looks like there should be anywhere from 2-4" with more coming tomorrow! :woot:
