I have a couple of friends who want to go this Saturday. Would love if some of the forum members would show up as well.
No meeting place yet, any recommendations?

How about the donut place on the left after you make the first turn into Idaho Springs? Not sure if I can go, but there is my suggestion...

Yeah, I was just going to follow the directions from either the book or google earth and just see what we run into.

If I can get my stuff together I might be able to make it.

Cool, I'll post meeting place and time details Tomorrow evening. Sorry that I'll be getting these details so late in the week but <excuse>I've been busy getting into college this week.</excuse>

So basically our plan right now is to meet at the Gas Station on I-70 and Wadsworth at 8am and leave when everyone has arrived.

Well, I attempted getting to the trail through I-70 off the Fall River Road exit and was able to make it pretty far up Mine RD. Basically Mine Rd has been plowed to the last house and then the snow is probably 3ft-Plus deep for 50ft before it basically turns into a wall of snow.

I think that was the 'wall of snow' that Dave wrote about in his Yankee Hill/Rising Sun run last week or so. He said coming in from the cemetary side like we did last year was the best bet...

I would like to try for another snow run, too. My schedule so far is helping 4LoLo move on the 24th (which ties up Bren and Bear..), possible mechanical work on the 25th, and free the following weekend so far...

Bren, Bear, Fullszfun(Chris) and I all are good to go for another run if we can coordinate it...probably DETN8R and friends, too...

I'm up for this weekend again if anyone else is interested. I want to try from the opposite side this time.

I should have my rig back together by the 31st. If so, I would love to get out again with you guys!
