Yesterday Jessica and I did the 6.2 mile hike. I have always loved this trail. Conditions as of yesterday. Mostly dry near the top and down in the canyon still has snow covering the trail.
For those that don't know location: Trailhead is on the right side (if leaving COS) 3 miles out of Manitou Springs. Total elevation climb of 2250'. The trail is a nice relaxing trail and offers some great views of Pikes Peak. Also look for wildlife, yesterday we were 5 feet from multiple deer. Trail starts with a climb up stairs and then goes into the canyon where the 3.5 mile loop starts.
Don't have many pics... was having to much fun and forgot about the camera!
