Hey all

I'm here in CSprings for the semester and just recently invested in an 87 4runner.

Have a bunch of projects i'd like to get to on it...if i can get the time, money and parts.

Recently replaced the clutch and basic maintenance like replaced shocks, steering stabilizer, and tires (all basically so I could get it out here from PA).

recently got some manual hubs and some old TJ coils from Patrolman that hopefully I can get on soon. just need the extra pieces that'll convert my auto-locking hubs to manual.

anyway...hopefully i can get pics up shortly.

Hey! Welcome to the site! good to see another Toyota, I thought we were having a Rover invasion a few days ago! Just kidding...glad you are here and any help we can give you on the build we sure will. If you already know Jeff, you are more than half way there as far as getting or finding deals on parts.

Keep us posted as to what you need! Pictures would be great!

Welcome to the board, glad you made it. There are also a number of 4runners owners here that are more than competent and have lots of knowledge.

How about some pics?

Welcome
Like Jeff, I'm always looking for spare parts.
Post up what you are needing and I'll keep my eyes open.

Plan on running China Wall on Mar 28th with us.
It's always nice to put a face to a handle.

What are you studying at school? CUCS?

Sorry took a little while for me to get these. Little dirty but I thought this would be better then no pics.
I'm at the Air Force Academy for the semester.
Looks like I'm going to have to mess with my radiator before I get to any better projects...where's the best place to find salvage/scrap vehicles?

I like Pull N Save but it's in North Denver - http://www.pullnsave.com/

There's also a number of yards off Santa Fe near Evans in Englewood buy again pretty afr north for you. I'm sure the Springs has a fair share too.

I am not sure what is in Colorado Springs, but Hot Line Auto Parts is located on South Santa Fe between Castle Rock and C470..Still north, but not all that far. Colorado Auto Parts is north of C470 on the Santa Fe frontage road, between Belleview and Hampden on Radcliff. You might want to call them first as their Toyota selection varies.

Both of these guys should have their numbers and address in the 'vendors' section.

A-1 Auto Salvage is the cheapest and will more than likely have it
Harris is a bit pricey but you tell them what you want and you pick it up
PM 4runninfun.. there is a Toyota specific yard on Las Vegas Street
If you want to head east on HWY 94 there are a bunch also....
