I have had a great time for more than that but the weekend was the highlight. Starting on Saturday morn (around 10 a.m.) I went to the bike show here in Colorado Springs.. HAD A BLAST, also realized how many people I know in the cycling community (was a lot more than I expected). looked at the old and the new. Looked at accessories and custom build items/bikes. talked. reminisced etc... HAD A BLAST. From there I went home for a little while and hung out with a good buddy. When he left the guy who put the show together had rented out a local restaurant.. Even got free Beer from Bristols Brewery. ( but I did not drink.. I know I know) After hanging out my wife and I walked around Downtown for a couple hours until 10:30 or so. at 10:30 the Movie Theater downtown (because of the bike show) put AMERICAN FLYERS ON THE BIG SCREEN!!! That was awesome... I love the movie and have always wanted to see it on the big screen. Then Sunday came and I met up with all my buddies for a ride to McCabes Tavern where they show the Tour of California on all the screens and had half of appetizers for the show weekend! All said and done the ride was 37.07 miles and took all day... it was great. Hope to have this much fun next time the show comes to town!

Some pics of the show!

Sounds like a fun time! Cool bike pictures, too. What is the last bike? Why the tire/wheel design? A speed bike?

Aaron, that sounds like fun!

Brody, with a single speed, no brakes, and a rear disc wheel, I'd guess thats an old school velodrome race bike.

The last bike is a track bike. Fixed gear. And rumor has it that it's made out of melted down penny's. It is solely built for use in a velodrome set up where you go fast and never stop pedaling!
