Front Range 4x4 Sponsor Changes

In conjunction with the 1st anniversary I will be discontinuing the sponsors as they've been used in the initial year. I'm not sure what I will do but the current effort generated too little to make it worthwhile.

Just a heads up to those who have a banner appearing now. All that are now there as a courtesy will be represented in another way when I do get around to making the change.

Thanks Randy but that won't be necessary - this isn't a profit making effort. The original idea of the sponsors was started on a previous version of forum software that had a feature that we don't have now. All sponsor money was spent on things that users won by activity based "money" they earned which was fun.

Part of my philosophy is that FR4X4 doesn't have the standard "club" things like meetings, boards of directors and membership fees. Thus the phrase you might see now and then is that we're a "non-club club" which makes sense to me if not anyone else. One thing I want to assure everyone, since you mentioned donations, is that we are not dependent on sponsors to keep the site up. I will keep it that way. The costs aren't really much even if other sites say otherwise :D

I'm not sure what change I'll make but the way it is just isn't making sense to me these days. Whatever I do will not cost any member of Front Range 4x4 as much as a penny out of their pocket. ;)

Yup! I got the 4runner back from a friend Friday before last(3/13), dropped it of at Jim's at 10am the next day, and picked it up last Sunday.
