Hey everyone, my name is Jack and Ive got a 2006 Hummer H3 Adventure Package. Traded in my 2007 Mazdaspeed with no regrets and love the H3! Of course Im not into the bling so I Blacked out everything... wheels, grill, mirrors, door handles and taillights. But anyways, I recently found this site and look forward to getting the wife and my 2 girls out to meeting and wheeling with a great community of locals here on Front Range 4x4. I havent done any wheeling here in Colorado yet... but went to Moab on March 14th for the weekend with about 13 other Hummers from Club Hummer Offroad. We ran Fins N Things, Hells Revenge and did Potash Road, Schaffer Switchbacks and Longs Canyon. Truly an amazing place to wheel and take in the sights!

Welcome Jack, nice intro and pics! Thanks for that and you are the first Hummer on FR4X4 which is cool. We had a great family run last Saturday, take a look at the Trail Report for China Wall when you get a chance.

Looking forward to wheeling with you before too long!

:welcome:

Hello and Welcome! I like the look of the blacked out rather than shiny H3, nice job.

And I LOVE Moab! Was there two weeks ago. Fins is a lot of fun.

Hey! Welcome to the site! This is a really group of folks here and many of the runs we do are family oriented, so there are usually a group of kids along...great kids, too!

Really nice to see a Hummer that is actually used for wheeling! Mostly you just see them with all the Bling and doing the Mall Crawl/Soccer Mom thing. It will be great to get out on a trail with you. All I have ever seen wheel have been the 1st generation Hummers, but that is a different story...

We are planning a bunch of runs this season, so keep watching the calendar. We are planning a recovery run down to Medano Pass to rescue a stolen FJ that was found just before the snow hit and also the Ellis Jeep trail. These, along with the trail clean up runs, are posted far enough out to allow people with kids and family to plan around them. Chris and I have been trying to get folks to post runs a month or two ahead of time for the same reason. We have a lot of folks here with family, kids and obligations...

Looking forward to meeting you and seeing that Hummer do it's thing! Nice looking rig!

Thanks for the welcome everyone! Believe me I know... MOST (99%) Hummers are not used for what they are built for. Look forward to meeting you guys at upcoming events/meets! :D

I'll post some more of my Moab pics in the appropriate thread for others to check out.

Thanks for the welcome everyone! Believe me I know... MOST (99%) Hummers are not used for what they are built for.

I know what you mean. Look how many FJCs with rear lockers and sliders and skids just end up at Target. The people here do respect drivers who use their rigs to capacity and recognize that you don't have to have some built crawler to be truly driving an off-road vehicle.

I believe that too!
I think he wants to take it with some friends to go camping...just what I want. A teen boy with other teen boys, a newbie driver, off-road limited to Arches, heading out with the rig. I am not ready for that yet.
