Disclaimer: I'm not a big fan of American Idol's manufactured "stars" or the British counterpart but this is a great example of why everyone should always be careful of "judging a book by its cover"

That was really impressive! Talk about not judging a book by it's cover..

Reminded us of the American Idol one with the Potts guy that sung opera. I think he was either a butcher or plumber, looked like the male counterpart to this lady, and the same thing...when he opened his mouth to sing, it was one of those voices made for singing..an absolute gift...in other words, it doesn't get much better

TMI Pete LOL. Val always tell me I can't sing or I shouldn't sing and to this day I have only heard her sing once and that was on our wedding day.

there was a similar thing a while ago, telephone salesman who could sing opera. Very impressive.

HOLY FREAKIN SHNIIIT that guy has a great tenor voice!!!!!!

I can see this guy making it big, its nice to see people with hidden talents get their chance!

This is more than cool! This is amazing, both of them. Two average, anonymous people with a beautiful talent. I was happy just watching them put something good out in the world. It is good to see people so happy, as they were. I am only sorry that the panel was so surprised such music came from these two people.
Thanks for putting up the link. Paul singing opera was stunning.

She can sing!!! It's just too bad she doesn't look like a Christina Agulara or Beyonce Knowles (sp?) It really is sad that the pretty people with a little above average talent will always trump the not so pretty with phenomenal talent.
