Gate closed at Pole Hill Road on 4/26/2009

Went up to Pole Hill Road near Estes Park today and the gate was closed. I suspect the the loops are very muddy and they're trying to let it dry out so the trail doesn't get torn up.

they had to close the gate so they could fix the big ole holes a few members left, I won't mention any names but Brody and Greenramp might be able to tell you more. :lol:

I agree there! The 80's model I went out with had it ... Don't know why they ever got rid of it.

Going up the hill is not that hard with the Auto (I can stop in the middle of a steep climb, and it will restart with no problems from a dead stop, no matter what the surface is). But downhills are kinda annoying, have to trailbrake a lot. The first gear doesn't brake the engine well till it hits about 10mph, and that's too fast sometimes ;)
