I would say it is like a 5 or 6. its doneable in a cherokee open and open, and a suburban thats the same. it is always changing though and the difficulty is sometimes easier and sometimes harder.

I don't know if this run'll pan out, atleast at Eagle Rock. Other sites are saying that this trail is still covered with deep snow.

So, I'm pretty sure my rig is capable of running this run, but I'm still a noob. Should I give it a try. I'm wondering if I shouldn't stick to the 3s and 4s like Yankee Hill for a bit till I get the sliders and experience.
Thoughts?

Driving Eagle Rock solo? As the driver found out that was a bad idea. Not really enough info there to determine what happened but it may have been due to the drivers' experience rather than the snow. Since there was the group that recovered the rolled Jeep the trail must not be impassable. ;)

Wow that could have been a deadly accident glad no one was seriously hurt on that.
I wheeled with a passenger to yankee hill a month ago and almost got jacked up on a simple rock. Luckily i was able to get myself off it.

People screw up all the time on that section of the trail, it's decieving how off camber it is. I've seen people slide off of it when its wet. I think it has a lot to do with guy behind the wheel. I'm still going.

Human error accounts for most accidents..with cars, with trucks, with tools, climbing, diving, skiing, boarding...hell, you name it. If humans can screw something up doing it, you can bet they will succeed...That is what makes the Darwin awards so fun to look at...

So where is this: "will meet at mcdonalds on circle at 9:00" in relation to Hwy 24 and I25? Dont' have a clue..
also couldn't tell from the RSVPd who was or wasn't going...
I if we do anything, it is going to be this run as it is harder than Pickle and LaDawn is now off Sunday. Just don't want to drive all that way and not meet up with anyone...

Jamie and I tend to meet where the pavement ends on Old Stage Road. Makes it easier. He planned on being there at 9:30 - 10. The McD's is easy to get to also. Take I-25 to the Circle exit go east(left turn if coming from the north) get in the far right lane.. The light you must turn at is the corner where McD's is at. All of 1/2 mile from my house LOL

I made it past the off-camber section in my M1009 which is pretty tall. The rollover happened a few days prior so I am sure the snow had melted some before I got there. Worst case scenario would be that some shoveling would be needed.
