Anyone interested in another trek up to Yankee Hill on the weekend of the 30th? Either day works for me at this point and I'd really like to get to know the area since it is so close.

Update. This run is CANCELLED

I can't do Friday because of that whole job thing. Looks like H3 wants Sunday. Perhaps a 11:00 meeting time at the McDs in Idaho Springs again?

Get it done if you can. You have to pull us out of the snow;). Seriously though, you're the Yankee hill tour guide so we need you there.

its really about a couple hours of welding and then an hour or two to mount it and wire it up and done.

How much snow is up there? Is it just on The Hill and is the trail relatively melted off?

All of the snow on the trail has melted. There are puddles but it is pretty dry.

So, anyone interested in going on this run? I'd like to do this one since it is a bit milder than Chinaman Gulch but if the interest is low, then maybe I'll go on that one...

It is. This one is for Sunday. It doesn't seem to popular right now so I may go see a plane crash...

So, what happened to Brutus?

Yikes. That sucks. Well, and extra 350 foot lbs might make up for it.

As for Yankee, I was holding out hope but perhaps you are right.

you can keep it up till the day before, whatever you feel, just would suck to have it up and you go on different trail. You can change the info for a different trail is fine :)
