That's great! I love it! Maybe I should do the same , but I keep hoping that someone is gonna call with some work that pays...

I lived in the mountains for 2 years with no phone, no mail, and no computer. I loved it. People wanted to see me had to drive up to my house...Another time, I spent almost a year camping up in the hills, rock climbing or doing something fun, but camping 5-14 days at a pop, most of the time by myself..Liked that, too and my friends kinda knew where I was and would drop in occasionally...

BTW...what do you have against carrier pigeons?

They have the capacity to carry bird flu, and I hate birds in general.
