I am looking for a good 4x4 location for the 4th of July but I have many requirements:

Location:
Pike, Arapaho and Roosevelt national park areas (I have people coming from Colorado Springs, Denver, Steamboat, and Ft. Collins)

Elevation:
10,000 feet or less (don't want to be too cold)

Camping:
Enough tent Space for about 12 people

Skill Level:
About Moderate

Activities:
Preferably a nearby lake or river for fishing and secluded enough for firearm target practice

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

Andrew

Would you be interested in doing Middle St. Vrain/Coney Flats? It is a moderate trail. It is on the Peak to Peak highway going to Estes Park. Let me know. I think I could get a couple of other guys in the club to join us.

Please post an Intro rather than a request. You'll get a much better response. ;)
