We've been talking about it, but no one put it up on the Calender. I'm definitely up for a day of wheeling, so I decided to throw it up here. Its a bit last minute, but it looks like we have at least 3-5 people wanting to go. I personally would love to make this a long day and do all three of the trails discussed, that being Kelly Flats, then Sevenmile (http://www.frontrange4x4.com/forums/vbglossar.php?do=showentry&item=Sevenmile) , and then go to the next valley over and do Moody Hill (http://www.frontrange4x4.com/forums/vbglossar.php?do=showentry&item=Moody+Hill) and Crystal Mountain (http://www.frontrange4x4.com/forums/vbglossar.php?do=showentry&item=Crystal+Mountain) time and desire permitting. I've never done Kelly Flats or Sevenmile (http://www.frontrange4x4.com/forums/vbglossar.php?do=showentry&item=Sevenmile) , but Moody/Crystal is probably my favorite trail right now. This should be a doable and a fun day.

I'm thinking since most of us are coming from down in the Denver area, to meet up at the Starbucks on the East side of I-25 at exit 240, which is the Highway 119 exit. Its a nice central meeting place, and we can cruise up to Fort Collins from there. Kelly Flats is up Poudre Canyon a ways, and Mapquest says its about an 1 hour and 40 minute drive up from Lakewood ,where I live, to the trailhead. The Sevenmile (http://www.frontrange4x4.com/forums/vbglossar.php?do=showentry&item=Sevenmile) trail is a bit further up the Canyon. Then Crystal is one basin South, with multiple ways to get there.

Here are the traildamage.com links to each trail:

Definitely looking forward to getting out wheeling tomorrow:thunb:

Sounds good to me. I'm guessing we'll leave from there around 8:30 or so. There are options for breakfast or lunch and gas all around that area, so its a good place to meet. Sounds like its just the three of us (plus whoever you bring along as a guest). Should be a fun time. I plan on having it be an all day thing and will probably get back around dusk, unless you guys want to go longer. I'm fine with whatever we choose.

PM me if you want my phone number. I don't have a CB yet, so thats the best way to get a hold of me.

What trail are you going on? If we get done with this one in time, I might be up for another run out this evening. Was hoping to see some fireworks from the top of a mountain or something, so let me know. I'll probably be out of cell range by 9am, but will get any responses to this via email so let me know.

Sorry...should have mentioned it was a very small private gig for only a couple of rigs (that's all the room there is on top, I guess)...otherwise I would've posted it up as a regular run....
