Thanks to Charlie for pushing me on this and his g/f Kerri who works for an embroidery company for tolerating my slow responses.

Would anyone be interested in buying a Front Range 4x4 Baseball Cap for under $10? Variety of colors are available and the logo like on top of the page (I think) is what would be embroidered on the front.

Flex fit would be the better way to go if they could possibly do it

Description:
• Brushed Twill, Low Profile Cap.
• Fabric: 100% lightweight, brushed cotton twill
• Structure: Unstructured
• Closure: Self-fabric closure with slide buckle

Note: As I said in the first post, "Would anyone be interested?" I'm not taking orders, just seeing if it's worth the time to get some made. It looks like it would be.

I'm still waiting for the stickers and will move on to this next.

A couple of caps we could go for depending on the price. Double check with LaDawn as I think she knows someone from her leads group that does this cheaply..

Here's a "sew out" of the logo:

NICE!!!

I see there is white around the outside. I'd almost rather see the sewn part be the white part and the background be the color of the hat. That way there is no square... For white hats the white could be changed to green or some other color.

My 2 cents.

No white around the outside, that's the background.

Aaron

Oh, the white looked like it had little "fuzzies" too. My bad. Looks awesome then.

Alright. I think my comment still stands. The white around the background in your pic is representative of the hat itself, correct?

I'm suggesting that on a white hat, the only thing embroidered is what is shown in white in the image above. That means that on a white hat, it would have to be embroidered in green (or something dark). FRONTRANGE 4x4 will show up in white (the color of the hat) and the mountains will be the embroidered part. In other words, one color embroidery. This will get rid of the rectangular "patch" type look to it.

Again, just an opinion.

Embroidery requires an outside stitch so no matter what changes are made it still has the patch look because that's pretty much what it is for this use. We could get different colors but for a first run at this I want to keep it as simple as possible.

Here's something that my old club back East did with their hats: Added their forum nickname/handle/whatever-it's-called to the back of the hat.

It would add to the expense, but I found it to be a very nice addition - especially at meetings and trail runs.

Good idea Jimmy, right now I'm keeping it as simple and cheap as possible. Consider it a trial order to see what everyone thinks before going forward with anything else. I'm going to charge a bit more than cost so I can buy a few backups to have on hand.
