Yep, me and my brother decided to take a little dip in the mud but i got too close to a narly little part. I figured it would be just a little bit of mud but when my tire hit it, well the pictures tell the story. I wasnt going fast mayby about 10 mph and my truck just sank into this crud. it took a f250 wrecker and a 2500 chevy to pull me out....
What was scary is my right rear started to lift off the ground by 2 feet due to the front left sinking in more and not wanting to comee out.
nothing was damaged no one got hurt, just good times in the south.

i tried to winch out but my ds tire was about 4ft into the eart not including the 3 feet to the headlight. i just didnt have enough cable to reach the nearest tree even with both straps on it, also too i need to get deep cycle batteries as i use up the power in the old ones real quick. I need to get extension wire as well. I spooled the cable out to a point that it pulled out of the swedge lug on the drum. I just need to get it re lugged and find a solution to keep the bottom layer from unwinding and doing that again. I also need to get a rear winch installed and tie in 2 more deep cycle marine batteries in the bed for winching duty and aux duty.
1:yes i am special
2:getting stuck is half the fun :P
3:Who is rangy? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
it was good times though only cost $40 to get out. the kid that pulled up in the wrecker pulled the guy in the 2500 out from the same spot a couple weeks ago.
One thing to mention is that the water in that ditch is only about 3 inches deep, but it covers mud 3-4 foot deep. I should have known better but its all good.
here are a couple more pics

i drew some lines to see where the ds tire was and it was deep. the yellow line is on the ps rim and 90deg out to the ds rim just a rough estimate.
